Default Nissan Maxima Code p0505

For the past few months i have been having quite a bit of trouble with my 2001 Nissan Maxima. One day my car would not start. It was idling very low and would die out if I was not hitting the gas at all times. The code at the time was the mass air flow sensor. I replaced it and it still would not start without me hitting the gas. I have replaced the mass air flow sensor, the MAFS coupler, the engine control module, which I was told would fix my problem. I am not sure what else I can do now, and neither does my mechanic. Not sure what to do now!

Code P0505 points to Idle Air Control Valve. You can try clean it and if it doesn't solve the problem you will have to replace it. Have your mechanic do the Idle Air Volume Learning procedures before replacing the IACV/AAC Valve.
