Default Water leak

My 96 maxima is leaking water from the front of the engine and I can't tell exactly where it's coming from. The water drips down between the oil pan and the alternator. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Is it water or coolant? If it's coolant, it's probably the water pump. The water pump is driven by the timing chain, but it has a drainage channel that routs coolant out near the bottom of the alternator and above the A/C compressor if the shaft seal should fail and leak coolant out of the weep hole.

It's coolant leaking and other people seem to think it's the water pump too. It's going to be a pain to change. Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it.
