Default 94 Maxima MGX

My son's 94 Maxima MGX was running rough. The mechanic said the number 6 injector was bad. To replace the one injector would be $356 or $1154 to replace all six.

The car has 212,466 miles (timing belt changed at 141,245) and is in fair to good condition. The transmission and cv joints were replaced at 194,106. New tires were bought last month.

My questions are:
- is it economically smart to invest another $1,200 in this car?
- if so, can a "shade tree mechanic" change the injector or is special equipment involved?
- if replacement is the option, should all the injectors be replaced?
- is there a disadvantage to using rebuilt injectors?
