A new entry has been added to Knowledgebase

Description:
2005–2008 NISSAN PATHFINDER, XTERRA, FRONTIER;
VDC & SLIP LIGHT ON & DTC C1143, C1144, C1156, C1163
The VDC and SLIP lights are ON, and one or more of the following DTCs are stored in the ABS control unit:
C1143 (ST ANGLE SEN CIRCUIT)
C1144 (ST ANGLE SEN SIGNAL)
C1156 (ST ANG SEN COM CIR)
C1163 (ST ANGL SEN SAFE)

Cant clear problem vdc and skip light on at the same time - please help

I have had my 07 Xterra into the dealer 3 times for this issue. I have found if you turn the vehicle off then hold the vdc switch in while turning the vehicle back on..the lights go out. Hopefully your dealer will do better at fixing the real problem though. I have another appointment with them next week, I will go in with service bulletin Ntb08-02b in hand and see if they can fix it this time...
