Default This problem just started

This creaky window has just started in my 2008 Xterra on the front passenger side. I took it to the dealership and they said it is just cheap Nissan parts, something to do with the automatic window control system and it will probably keep happening.

I have decided to take it back and have them fix it and if it happens again they can fix it and keep fixing it until the warranty runs out.

This hunk of junk Nissan Xterra has been nothing but problems since I bought it last December.

Default noisey front pass. window

I to had the same problem with my "07 xterra. I believe it happened after trying to open frozen window to clean off frost one cold winter day and after the window finally poped open it made that noise returned it to the dealer. Dealer fix it and it never happened again. GOOD LUCK

Thanks for the info jpg07, don't know why my dealership had such a tough time with this and more or less convinced me it can't be fixed and I didn't have enough time to deal with it and argue with them that day. I printed out the service bulletin from this website and am going to bring it with me on my next visit Tuesday. Why do dealership service departments insult the product they sell...I will never know, and did they not have access to the service bulletins? go figure...

thanks for the glimmer of hope, maybe they will figure it out this time
