If you are buying a new vehicle, would you buy an American made vehicle just to help our economy?

Define "American made". Vehicles assembled in the states, whose ultimate headquarters is foreign. Or vehicles assembled abroad, but headquartered in parts of Michigan. I personally have a hard time saying a vehicle assembled in Mexico is "American made". However I see the argument for the other side as well.

The only american made I will consider would be a Ford product. I have had good luck with them.

I really liked the Saturn Vue and would have bought one instead of the Murano but was unsure with whats happening with GM. I've read that GM might drop Saturn so it looks like I made the right decision.
