Default trailer hitch reciever

the cheapest I found is 175.00 at u haul the dealer wants over 300 why so expensive i don't want to go used but I might have to if I can find one in this area. other than that everything runs great except when I hit a bump in the road the steering wheel jerks, not much just a little, and the blower motor is getting noisy. damn, this is a good truck.

SB,

Check out EBay and amazon.

This is the one that I got for my '13. Geniune Nissan and Class IV, with a place for the 7 Pin receptacle. You'll also need the Wireing Kit for the 7 Pin(I recommend the 7 Pin Kit), that installs in the Passenger Right Side Kick Panel. I installed everything myself and it wasn't hard for me to do.

I would go genuine Nissan, as well. One thing you don't want to go cheap on is something that you are going to be towing with!

The aftermarket hitch will work fine. The 4 pin Nissan wiring works well with those because the bracket bolts to the bumper to hold the wiring . With the 7 pin you will need to buy a separate bracket to mount the connector. The factory hitch has the bracket welded to it.
Use the factory wiring. It is less expensive than the aftermarket options.
