My research is about 4 months old, but a the time it seemed that the Denso Iridium plug (.4 mm electrode) was best for performance with the NGK iridium plug (.6 mm electrode) next. The NGK plug lasts longer, however. These plugs didn't come in the right heat range for my truck, but I think they do for yours. If you change the plugs every 30,000 miles the Denso plugs should give better mileage and performance. With iridium plugs it may be better to get some that come pregapped since their thin electrodes can be easily bent with traditional gapping tools.
You might want to try some low resistance Granatelli spark plug wires also. Last edited by writer; 10-08-2008 at 05:34 PM. |
