i have a 2003 altima w/144k on it, i am getting the following codes 0507, 1147, and 0138, i think the 1147 and 0138 are the same (O2 sensor, bank 1 sensor 2). i am thinking of just cleaning the O2 sensor instead of replacing it. just not sure if it is a good idea to do this. the 0507 is Idle speed control system RPM higher than expected. nissan said that i need to change out the throttle body, can't really afford nissan to do it so i was thinking of getting a remanned one from oriely's. could i please get some good advice on this. really don't have much money to fix all at once. also what is the pressure supposed to be at on the low side of ac lines
thanks

P1148 Closed Loop, Bank 1I was told this code meant Emissions/ Auxilliary, having to do with either the catalytic converter or oxygen sensor. What does Closed Loop, Bank 1 mean?

2006 Nissan Frontier crew cab & the SES light keeps going on. Gas cap changed this passed July and it has started up again. My mechanic is getting the P0455 code but he needs something more specific.
He done countless tests on it (smoke test etc...) nothing seems to be leaking.
I am doing research on my own but so many different opinions and ideas, some very simple others very complicated.
I am really trying to avoid going to a Nissan Dealership in my city, especially where I purchased it!
Help please,
Carole

My husband and I discovered that if we put SUPER gas in the truck the SES light goes out! We were getting the P0455 code.

Question No codes showing

I have a OBD11 reader [Memoscan U380]. Plugged into my 2002 Frontier XE 2.4L 5 spd - appears to have good connection [gives correct prompts] but shows "no codes" - can I be so lucky or is it misleading!!! I do have pinging/rattling at around 2000-2500 rpm in all gears if under minimal load [goes under hard accelration] which is driving me crazy.

thanks for any advice

I have two codes P1800 and P0340. The P1800 said pending. I read your codes and the 1800 says VIAS control solenoid valve. What does that mean and what is the deal with the camshaft position sensor?
Thank You,
Bill

My service engine light came on due to codes P0400 and P0136. After troubleshooting i found a broke hose on the EGR which i replaced. I cleared the codes expecting the light to return with a P0136. I've driven 120mi over a couple trips/days and still no light. Was the O2 sensor problem caused by the EGR problem? Has fixing one problem solved the other?

I have a 2002 Frontier, and just got a code P0340. The engine turns but does not start. I appreciate any ideas on what might be going on?

Post OBDII SYSTEM NOT READY:Emission Test Results

I took my truck to a mechanic to fix my EGR woes, clearing all the related trouble codes and "Service Engine Soon" light. I've driven 110mi over the last two days and assumed it would be ready for emissions testing. Apparently it's still not ready. How far, long and fast should i drive before i can take it back? What should i do to make the system ready?

my ABS light is on. sometimes it turns off but most of the time it stays on specially after using my 4H. i already cleaned the two sensors on each side but the problem still remains. i wonder if i need to fill my front transmission fluid and where will i put in the fluid and how will i check if i need to fill it up?
