Thumbs down Frontier Clunk in Rear Differential

Is there anyone else out there who has this nasty clunk coming from the rear when shifting from Drive into Reverse? Every time I ask the dealer about it, they laugh it off with the same boloney about "If it gets any worse..."

I have seen bad u-joints making noise on this model. It appears that corrosion between the steel caps on the u-joints and the aluminum drive shaft is causing the joints to bind and fail prematurely.
