MAF sensor cleaner
CRC makes a spray cleaner they claim is safe for cleaning MAF sensors. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience using it and is it safe to use on our MAF sensors?

Yes i have and clean mine about every 30k or so and have had on problems yet. Make sure you don't touch the element and allow it to dry completely (it does so fast) before you start the engine.

It is a good idea to unplug the sensor before you clean it.

Thank you for replying. I cleaned it. However, it must not have been very dirty because I haven't noticed a difference. It did give me the opportunity to clean out the air box though. Might anyone know why the airbox has two seperate air intake ports?

Just to allow more air into the air box. It's a volumme thing and to reduce the noise the incomming air would make if it had only one air tube.
