Question What Weight/Type Of Oil Do You Use?

I have an 06 with 39,000 miles and I'm using a synthetic blend 5w-30.

I'm just curious to see what everyone else's is running.

I have found that Walmart always seems to be the cheapest when it comes to oil.

I have an 08 with 10K on it. I am and will use 5-30 Mobile non synthetic up to the next change at 15K. At 20K and for all after that will be using 5-30 Mobile full synthetic.

Default motor oil

i used 5w30 since new, when i finally hit 100,000 miles i went to valvoline max life high mileage 10w30....... but because of the exchange rate down here, all imported motor oils are not being ordered.

so i flushed my engine oil (5 minutes) with a mexico nissan engine cleaner and added mobil 1 synthetic 5w30 ... i have 8 fram oil filters left wich i was not to happy with the synthetic oil flowing through it.... so i ran truck for 130 miles with fram and replaced with bosch and topped off.

i change my oil every 3 to 4k and was surpriced at the oil/dirt color that came out from the engine flush.

3 weeks ago went out of town and got 20.+ mpg highway and after the mobil synthetic i got 24.+ on same trip.

I used to use Castrol Syn Blended 10-30. Now Wal Mart doesn't seem to carry it anymore...so I switched to Valvoline 10-30 syn blend......67000 miles on it.

I use 5-30w regular oil from Nissan with Nissan oil filter.

I change it every 3 months/1864+miles as I get 4 oil changes a year, for free... well, after buying a oil change package.

Mobil 1 5W-30 or 5W30 EP with a Nissan or NAPA Gold filter. Change every 5000 miles. Have a 2007 Frontier SE Crew Cab.

I use Castrol GTX 10W-30 since new; change oil / filter every 5000KM (3106.855961185 Mi).
No oil burn noticed yet between changes. 195,000.0 KM now.
I think 10W-30 is a much better buffer to friction than 5W-30 and all our family vehicles have had high mileage on them with no motor problems before replacing the vehicle. That's my proof it works.
in summer I get 34 Mi/GAL - Canadian gallon that is. Lite Foot driving.
I only use synthetic oils in the manual trans and diff and change every two years.
