Guys,
I already posted in Altima forum but wanted to ask here also.
Does anyone have ever tried USB interfaces for Altima ?
I got unit similar to the one shown in the video:
YouTube - Nissan Altima 2008 iPod or USB integration. Step-by-step guide
The ones I found so far gromaudio and xcarlink, but xcarlink is in UK and no local dealers.
I want to play mp3's from USB. Either from stick or my Sansa player.
Any thoughts ?

USB port issue on Sentra radio

My 2010 Sentra radio seems to have issues recognizing memory sticks connected to the USB port. I've tried three(3) different memory sticks: 16GB, 512MB, & 128MB-- but the radio seems to have problems recognizing any of the memory sticks. The radio will display "Check Device" after it tries reading. I then have to disconnect/re-connect the USB memory stick for the radio to have a chance to read the device. It usually takes 4-6 disconnect/re-connects for the radio to finally be able to recognize the device and play .mp3 files.

It would appear that the problem is in the radio/USB port. My guess is the radio as sometimes it stops playing songs on the USB stick without shutting off & restarting the ignition-- so it does not appear to be just a flakey connection. I hope there's a firmware upgrade available for the radio.

Anyone seen this issue before?
