Default Security Indicator Light

I have a 05 Armada. My wife was driving the car and went to pick up our children after work. When she got them into the car and attempted to crank it, it started and cut off. The battery works and the car will continue to crank but it will shut off two seconds after it starts up. The security indicator light is flashing. It was not doing this before. Can anyone help?

The security light flashes when the system does not recognize the key. You may have a bad key or another device that is interfering with the transmission. If the system does not recognize the key, it will not turn ON the fuel pump.

You should stop trying, because after a few tries, the system will lock and only the dealer can unlock it.

Try another key or remove the key from the key ring and try again.

If your Armada is out of warranty, yes.
