PO400 code
I have a 1999 Nissan altima with a PO400 code. I would like to know is it an easy fix or do I have to bring it to a mechanic? With my OBD11 scanner, the code stays off for about 3 days before it reappears.
Any help would be appreciated. |

You probably have a clogged EGR tube/valve. You need to remove the EGR valve and clean the valve and passages.

thank you for your quick reply to my problem. I'll go the least expensive way first, check for loose hose fittings and get some throttle cleaner or carburetor cleaner and see if the code comes back.
