un-programming key fob

I have to start by saying that all these posts about the old codes clearing when you reprogram your key fobs are crap. I know this because ive tried. I have 2 altimas and programmed a key fob from 1 of them to work for the other because i lost one.

I want to know if anybody found/knows a way to completely erase all the stored codes and start from scratch without having to program 4 codes.

The reason i am asking is because now when i use the key fob that i programmed, it unlocks and locks both cars at the same time!

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You will have to program another remote 5 times to clear out all of the old ones.

so i can just keep programming the same one over and over and it will clear the old remote??

I have never done that, but you should definitely try. It only takes a minute.
