Trunk Won't Open
Hi,
Everyone I'm new to the forum and I currently drive a 2004 Nissan Altima. It seems that I can only open my trunk with the key. I tried pulling the latch inside the car but, it won't pop the trunk open. Is there a fuse for this car or am I having electrical problems? Thanks!!! I can already see that I will be spending alot of time in this forum as it seems I've got alot going on with my car from the engine cutting off while driving, trunk not opening, and now radio. Please help if you can. |

Pull out your Owner's Manual and jump over to: Pre-driving checks and adjustments 3-11
Hopefully, that is all it is...

Thanks a bunch! I had previously looked in the manual and they had a valet button but, its not on my vehicle. I checked for it but, I will read it again. I've been using the key in the mean time. |

There should be a valet switch in the glove box.

There's a switch on the passenger side of the hand rest. It's black and you can see it only from the passenger side; it's below the hand rest on driver's side. If you press it, it'd open the trunk!
