Default car wont start what can it be??????

Hi folks, lets get right to it. My alternator went bad and my cut shut off on me of course since the battery went dead. I changed the alternator recharged the battery and made sure it was still good , connected everything in and when I turn the key there was click sound. afraid of it being the starter took it in got it tested and it works flawless. WHATELSE CAN IT BE ??????? THE STARTER RELAY???

How did you recharge the battery? Did you have them also test the battery or you just took the starter to have tested?

When you turn the key, how many clicks did you hear? You have double checked your work to see if the terminals are properly connected to the battery and that the alternator is securely connected as well, correct? The starter relay is located in the IPDM unit box next to the radiator reservoir for the 2005 model. This issue is regarding the 2005 Altima, and not the 2012?

just one click and we double checked the alternator and terminals took them off put them back on again and everthing. It's regarding my 2005 sorry, I found where the relays are for it but I am just not sure if that can be a possibility.

Check the ground connection at the transmission case. Negative battery cable goes from battery to inner fender and then to the transmission. Make sure it hasn't corroded off.
