Where is the fuel filter 2007 Altima 2.5?
Is there a fuel filter somewhere? I have looked everywhere I can think of and can't find reference to a fuel filter. The owner's manual says nothing about it.
Thanks, Rick |

I know on the earlier models (2002 era) there wasn't a separate fuel filter. The only fuel filter was part of the fuel pump assembly in the tank. Not sure if that is true for the 2007 but I suspect since you can't find it or any reference to it, it's part of the fuel pump.

Yes, on the 2007 Altima the fuel filter is inside the fuel tank.

Thank you nissantech. I trust your qualifications and experience. Does that mean I don't have to replace the fuel filter until the fuel pump dies?
