Rear Tire rub
I recently had new tires installed on my '02 Altima. Now, over hard bumps the right rear tire rubs on the fender. I installed Goodyear Eagle Response Edge 235/50R17 Tires on aftermarket Moda wheels.
The prior set of tires I had were 235/50R17 Goodyear RS-A's on the car. The RS-A's did not rub. And these tires were on the same Moda Wheels. Has any one else had this tire rub issue? Any suggestions for fixing the problem? Thanks! |

The thread size is probably higher on your new tires. If the is the inner fender cover what is rubbing, you may be able to cut a piece of the cover.

Your car should have 215/55-17 tires on it. Replacing the tires with the correct size should take care of the problem.
