Altima transmission fluid
I am shopping the ATF in Walmart for my Nissan Altima. I find Tech 2000/Super Tech ATF, Castrol MP Dexron III/Mercon and Valvoline MaxLife ATF Dexron III/Mercon (for high mileage > 7,5000 miles cars). They all says meeting Dexron III/Mercon standards. My Atima manual suggests "Genuine Nissan Matic D ATF (Continental U.S. and Alaska) or Canada NISSAN Automatic Transmission Fluid, and Dexron III/Mercon or equivalent may also be used".
My 2003 altima is over 8,5000 miles. Which brand should I choose for my car? Is Valvoline MaxLife ATF(for high mileage) the best substitute for Canada NISSAN Automatic Transmission Fluid? Any input is appreciated!

Use the Maxlife DEX/MERC. It is good fluid. If you need more answers go to this website. It is all about fluids in general.
