97 Altima engine stumbling
my 97 runs fine at start up but then starts to stumble/misfire when it warms up at low rpm. Have noticed that the plug tips are alittle white. No trouble codes and all the emission eqpt seems to be working. Any ideas

Your symptoms sound similar to what I just went through w/ my 01 altima. I had it diag'ed and found a faulty Mass Air Flow sensor. The dealer's list is about $500.40, aftermarket in about $245, reman about $230 or if you can find a used one. I got a used MAF for $110. Have the MAF checked out, it may be worth your while. Spray carb cleaner around the intake gasket to see if the engine rpm changes. They leak around the #4 cylinder quite often.
