Default Outside air coming into car.

2007 Altma Outside air(cold) coming inside below glove compartment. If I hit the recirculate button it is not as bad and you get some heat on that side.

Have you tried taking apart the glove compartment to see if the vent is not defected? When you mentioned that you hit the recirculate button, you still have the temperature set as cold or did you also change the temperature to warm/hot to get that heat coming out from underneath the glove compartment? Or is it that you still have cold air coming from all vents, but just warm from underneath the glove compartment? Have you checked the cabin filter?

Default Outside (cold) air coming inside car.

The heater is on blowing Hot but the cold air comes into the car from the passenger side as far right as you can go and under the dash. We drove 2,760 miles and the only way to get it to stop coming in was to push the recirulate and if we switched to defrost becasue the windows were fogging the cold air would come in again. I have not checked the cab filter would that cause cold air to come in?

No, but i thought if you are going to take apart that glove compartment to see what's going on with the vent you might as well check on the cabin filter.
