First you need to do some tests while the car is cranking without starting. Remember to make an engine run you need 3 things: gas, spark and air.
Start for the air: - Remove the air filter and look for any foreign object that may obstruct the flow of the air. Now lets find out if you have spark plug gas: - Remove the ignition (spark plug) wire and connect a good known good spark plug. Place the end of the spark plug against ground (could be a bolt in the engine). Crank the engine and check for a park. If the spark is OK let see if you have gas or enough gas: - Remove the fuel hose and with the hose removed crank the engine. (If the fuel pump is OK lots of fuel will come out; please be careful with this step. You may also attached a fuel pressure gauge if available, it should have over 35 PSI while cracking) If the entire tests check OK, I recommend having a technician check the car, because more diagnostic tools will be require. Please let us know what you find and do not forget to register.
