Default I just broke my key in my door lock help please

It just snapped off...and I don't have a chipped key for a spare. I had a unchipped key cut so I had a backup for door locks and trunk. So to start the car I just taped the broken key and unchipped key togther and it works. But I want to buy a key off ebay...are there certain ones I can buy? and if so where can I find instructions to program it?

You can buy uncut chip key online. You must take it to dealer to cut and program. Only dealer can do it. It's a security issue.

Thank you I did some research and found that out as well. Can I buy a door remote and program myself or does that have to be done by dealer too?

You can program the fob yourself.
