replacing rear shocks 05 2.5 Altima
Can anyone tell me how to get to the top nut of the rear shocks on a 05 2.5 Altima? Pulled the carpet out of the way from inside the trunk, but couldn't see any access to loosen/tighten that nut. Do you have to remove the rear deck where the speakers are?

No, everything is from outside, take it from the bottom with long sockets. They are only two screws hold it. I did it in less than 1 hour for both corners. The hardest part is removing the bottom bolt.

I've got a 2009 and the procedure to remove and replace the rear shocks is exactly as roni102 says. Simple job that takes less than an hour.
