Brake issues
I replaced the brake pads on my 2012 Altima and the brakes stared to squeak terribly. I then brought it back in and replaced the rotors but had the same issue. My mechanic then advised me that Nissian put out a service memo on brake pads saying to replace them with Nissian factory brake pads. I did this and they still squeak. They seem to squeak the worst when applying the brakes while turning. It is so load it's embarrassing.

Welcome to the forum.
Did you do the fronts, rears, or both? USually noisy brakes are caused by buildup on the pad surface. I sand the face of the pads when it occurs. Alot of ceramic pads can be noisy. It is important to burnish the brakes to pair them to the rotors. Hope this helps a little. |
