Default 07 Altima - Maintenance Other message

Hello,

I have a 07 altima, and the on the message display area in the dash the "maintenance other" message has come up, and continues to display. I cannot seem to find any documentation in the service manual or owners manual regarding this particular message(I've found others like maintenance tire), and I'm not sure if I missed something.

Could anyone explain why the "Maintenance Other" message appears, and what routines I should perform whenever this message comes up? Also any way to specifically set it for certain mileage or reset it would be helpful.

Thanks in advance!

In your DIN (Driver Information Center) where you see the "Maintenance Tire" along with "Oil", "Filter", and the last one should be "Other" which is set to any frequency you wish...or turn it off. Once you select the "Other" you can set the frequency by 250 mile increments I believe until the freq is 0. Here it will be inactive.

This is covered in detail in the Altima Owner's Manual, pages 2-15 thru 2-17.

Maintenance mode
The maintenance mode allows you to set alerts
for the reminding of maintenance intervals for the
following:
c
engine oil

c
oil filter

c
tires

c other.

On "Other" you set it for anything you want. Is just a reminder.

You can download the Owner's Manual from here: Knowledgebase - Altima Sedan - Nissanhelp.com
