2004–2009 NISSAN QUEST; POWER BACK DOOR WILL NOT OPEN/CLOSE AND MAKES NOISE
While operating the power back door (lift gate),
• The power motor will not open or close the door,
and/or
• There is a grinding and popping noise inside the rear trim panel.

The Purpose of this bulletin is to give Nissan dealers guidelines to help determine if windshield breakage is covered under warranty or is the customer’s responsibility.
ALL NISSAN MODELS; ACCESSORY WHEEL LOCKS INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL
Accessory wheel locks, wheel lock keys, or vehicle wheels that are damaged due to improper installation or removal will not be considered a manufacturer defect and will not be covered under warranty.
ALL NISSAN MODELS; UPDATE TO AT/CVT TERMINOLOGY IN SERVICE MANUALS
The terminology for Automatic Transmission ("AT") and Continuously Variable Transmission ("CVT") in the Nissan Service Manuals is being updated to reflect the terminology in SAE J1930 and J2012.
2004-2009 NISSAN QUEST; ANTI-RATTLE SPRING HAS FALLEN OFF THE LEFT AND / OR RIGHT 2ND ROW SEAT
The inner and/or outer anti-rattle spring has fallen off from the left and/or right 2nd row seat.
AND
The seat continues to latch and otherwise operate normally.
-REVISED- ALL NISSAN MODELS WITH VQ ENGINE; BUZZING / WHINING NOISE FROM TIMING CHAIN AREA
There is a buzzing / whining noise coming from one or both secondary timing chain /camshaft sprocket areas. The noise may increase with engine speed (RPM).
ALL NISSAN MODELS; ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT DAMAGE CAN RESULT FROM IMPROPER BATTERY CONNECTION
The vehicle 12 volt battery is an important part of the vehicle electrical system and is required to stay connected when the engine is running.
VARIOUS NISSAN MODELS; LOW AIRFLOW FROM HVAC FRONT AIR VENTS
An Applied Vehicle has low airflow coming from the HVAC front air vents due to evaporator freeze-up.
AND
The HVAC unit surface temperature around the evaporator is about 32°F (0°C) causing ice to form on the evaporator.
2006-2009 NISSAN ARMADA, QUEST, TITAN; FRONT WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR LIMIT SWITCH RESET
If any of the following work has been done:
• Removal and installation of the regulator assembly.
• Removal and installation of the motor from the regulator.
• Installation of a new glass window.
• Installation of a new glass run.
