2007-2009 NISSAN SENTRA, VERSA; SUNROOF DOES NOT OPERATE PROPERLY
Sunroof auto operation will not work or the sunroof does not operate properly:
• When the battery has been disconnected or discharged
• When the sunroof motor has been disconnected from power
• When the sunroof motor has been changed
VARIOUS NISSAN MODELS; SUNROOF WIND NOISE
A wind noise is coming from the sunroof glass area.
• The noise can be isolated to the sunroof glass area if it stops after covering the sunroof seal with ‘painter’s tape’ or equivalent.

The Purpose of this bulletin is to give Nissan dealers guidelines to help determine if windshield breakage is covered under warranty or is the customer’s responsibility.
2007-2009 NISSAN SENTRA; FUEL FILLER TUBE IS SLIGHTLY OUT OF POSITION
• The fuel filler tube is slightly out of position and will not stay in place.
• The grommet that holds the top of the fuel filler tube in place detaches from the tube.
2007-2009 NISSAN SENTRA; MIL “ON” WITH DTC P0442 / P0448 / P0455 / P0456
The MIL is “ON” with one or more of the following DTCs stored:
• P0442 / P0448 / P0455 / P0456
AND
• EVAP Vent Control Valve is stuck open or will not seal when operated / closed.
ALL NISSAN MODELS; ACCESSORY WHEEL LOCKS INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL
Accessory wheel locks, wheel lock keys, or vehicle wheels that are damaged due to improper installation or removal will not be considered a manufacturer defect and will not be covered under warranty.
VARIOUS NISSAN MODELS; MIL ‘ON’ WITH P0840/P0845 AND P0710
An applied vehicle has CVT Fluid that is discolored and / or has unusual odor.
AND
The MIL is ‘ON’ with DTCs P0840 and / or P0845 stored in CONSULT III / ENGINE and / or TRANSMISSION.
OR
The MIL is ‘ON’ and P0710 is stored in CONSULT III / ENGINE and / or TRANSMISSION.
• P0710 may be stored with P0840 and / or P0845.
2007-2009 NISSAN SENTRA, VERSA; EXCESSIVE CREAKING NOISE COMING FROM FRONT SEATS WHILE DRIVING
The driver and passenger seats make excessive creaking noise while driving.
ALL NISSAN MODELS; UPDATE TO AT/CVT TERMINOLOGY IN SERVICE MANUALS
The terminology for Automatic Transmission ("AT") and Continuously Variable Transmission ("CVT") in the Nissan Service Manuals is being updated to reflect the terminology in SAE J1930 and J2012.
