Whether Toyota has that many recalls or not, the problems we're having are with Nissans. I can only assume that you may be a Nissan employee. I have reached out to Nissan and have filed with BBB and our General attorney office in MD for these issues and to this day, Nissan insists that the noises I hear in the vehicle are normal and therefore aren't getting fixed. This argument has gotten all the way to the arbitration specialist who relied on a regional technician who barely looked at the car and concluded that the sounds are not of issues. The tech was supposed to do more diagnosis but ended up doing absolutely nothing. Instead he test drove other Nissan Altimas, without my presence of course, to see if the same noises exist and according to him, they all made the same noises. Right? Easier said.. My car clearly has a defective anti slosh baffle or whatever it is in that tank. IT IS obnoxiously loud and disturbing. Besides fuel slosh, there seems to be metal banging in there or something that's broken. I am researching on how to file a lawsuit on this if it all possible. Nissan is a such a big disappointment esp having been a loyal customer for 20 years and have owned 5 Nissans. I didn't pay this much esp in this economy for a vehicle that has absolutely made me miserable. It's a sad case and if I can prevent consumers from buying this awful car, then I would gladly warn them ahead of time...
