Removing the EGR valve is not complicated but it does require some patience, because of the location of valve.

Removal:

1: Disconnect negative battery terminal.

2: Air Filter Box assembly(. (Remove everything up to the throttle body).

3: Once you remove the intake assembly you will be able top locate the valve (See Figure 1, 2)

4: Remove the nuts that holds the valve in place.

5: Use carburetor or throttle body cleaner to clean the valve.
