Until a Specialist replies...You might try spraying some WD-40 onto the screw head and allow one or two minutes for the lubricant to penetrate the corrosive seal. If that doesn't work you can try brushing kerosene on the rusted screw. Either way, that should remove enough of the crud to see what type of screw head is present.
