:offtopic:No rust under the gas cap, it's plastic to plastic anyway so no rust possibilities here. I doubt very seriously that it is the canister. I built my shop last year and included a 9,000 lb hoist to aid my car hobby so if it came to that it wouldn't be a problem.

This will be my last post here as I think this site is designed to make Nissan owners think they can't fix this stuff themselves and by that, offer either misinformation or information that would tend to push the vehicle into the dealer so they can take advantage of the owner with over priced and unnecessary repairs.
