I purchased my 2002 Nissan Altima from an individual. After coming to this forum, I discovered that I had multiple recalls that needed to be addressed. I contacted BUCKEYE NISSAN in HILLIARD, OH, which is a suburb of COLUMBUS, OH. They said they would be happy to take care of this, so I made an appointment. When I purchased the car, two weeks ago, it needed an alignment, which I got done. I checked everything on the car, and everything was good. So, I told Nissan to please just take care of the recall problems, and not to call me with anything else. So, I get a phone call stating that I need a FOUR WHEEL ALIGNMENT, WHAT A CROCK OF $#!*!!! They also stated that I need NEW REAR BRAKES AND ROTORS. Well, unless they wore out in two weeks, they still should have about 1/4 pad left on the inside and the outside, and the rotors are flawless. They also stated that I need an oil change, which is ridiculous since I just changed it, and I check my oil at every gasoline fill up, and it is still as clear as when I put the oil in 300 miles ago. So, I believe that since BUCKEYE NISSAN is not making any money off of me, but just the minimum for the recalls, they are trying to SCAM ME into purchasing service I don't need. I told them I am not the stupid run-of-the-mill driver that knows nothing about my car. I will also be following up with whomever I can at Nissan USA.
